Legacy Bench

During 2010, all of our fundraising efforts were directed to the commission of a "Legacy Bench".  This bench was donated to the new Brooklin Community Centre & Library courtyard. We were pleased to partner with Luke Andrews who created this special bench for everyone to enjoy, re-enforcing the idea of bringing the community together. As you see on one end of the bench, a grandfather is sitting reading Goldilocks & the Three Bears with his granddaughter while the other end has the mother, father and baby bear. We were especially pleased as the wood from the bench is from the site and has been repurposed into this wonderful landmark.
