Our 5th Annual Summer ArtFest will be taking place on Saturday July 16th, 2016, in Grass Park, downtown Brooklin, from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Special opening ceremonies will begin at noon.

Group 74 is proud to partner with the Ashburn Art Circle to co-host this 5th annual event. The Ashburn Art Circle ensures that the jurried Art Show at Summer ArtFest is a good representation of various mediums of art and local artists. Be sure to pop by their booth to learn more about their very dedicated group!

Maura Mapes plays regularly in local area venues - as a solo artist, she brings an acoustic, stripped down take to current pop, folk and alt-country hits. She has performed for the past 20 years in both large festivals and cozy pubs, and is pleased be back performing at this year’s Summer ArtFest!

Group 74 is pleased to announce that local band Myrtle Station, formed by Ryan Schuck, Ben Czuczman and Nic Mammone will be performing at this year's Summer ArtFest. They play a wide variety of music, but specialize in classic rock with a little bit of county thrown in.

The fabulous mellow sounds of Terry Blankey and Friends are back again! The band has become a strong partner with Group 74 and we are pleased to have them entertain the crowds.

Jason Smith with Creations from the Wood Pile will be showcasing his creativity with wood at this year's festival. This will be Jason's first time at the festival and we hope you will stop by and see some of his amazing creations!

Drop by the printmaking activity SG’s Pop-Up Studio will be doing at ArtFest. Here’s the description:
Inspired by Station Gallery’s current exhibition, High School Confidential, we’ll be looking into the old yearbooks of today’s hottest celebrities! Using a relief printmaking technique create a portrait of your favourite celebrity.
Bring a photo from your old yearbook and we’ll do a custom print for you!

As part of Summer ArtFest's historical component, Vintage Whitby will be displaying artifacts that were discovered from around Brooklin. In addition, an interactive talking pioneer display will give visitors a unique experience through the use of modern technology . Be sure to pop by our interactive and interesting booth.

Group 74 welcomes back Adrian Dew of Investors Group for a second year.
Be sure to pop by his booth and say hi - he will once again be hosting the very popular and talented Balloon Twister and colouring area. He is getting involved in the summer art festival so that he has the opportunity to support Group 74, raise money for a local cause and to meet and build relationships with the community.
