Paul Wallis Hope & Leadership Award 2016

Jordan LacknerGroup 74 was proud to present the 2016 Paul Wallis Hope & Leadership Award to Jordan Lackner at the Celebrating Youth Awards on November 8, 2016. Jordan's passion for social issues and helping in her community has led her to volunteer over 200 hours to various initiatives. Jordan interviewed youth across the community and created a video that was submitted as part of the Play Works Youth Friendly Community Recognition Program. Her contribution helped the Town of Whitby maintain its Platinum Youth Friendly status. A competitive cheerleader, Jordan volunteers as a Coach-in-Training, inspiring younger girls. Jordan is a part of the Leadership Team at school where she helps plan and run school events and is training to be a Peer Leader. She attends camps to learn about issues facing Native Canadians and global issues and hopes to become a Chaplain in the future. Jordan's passion and commitment to her community embodies the principles of the Paul Wallis Hope & Leadership Award. Congratulations Jordan and best wishes for your bright future.
